Greetings! I am Binod Prashad Pandey, a dedicated Engineering Professional originally from Baitadi district in the Mahakali zone of Nepal. My journey in the world of engineering specialized in Renewable Energy  has been both rewarding and inspiring.

My Professional Journey

For the past nine years, I have had the privilege of being a devoted full-time employee of the Nepal Electricity Authority, starting my journey in January 2015.

One of the highlights of my career was serving as the Station Chief at the Chatara Hydropower Station, a commendable 3.2 MW facility nestled in the Sunsari district of the eastern part of Nepal. During my tenure of approximately 3.5 years, I spearheaded an extraordinary revival effort. This station had faced complete shutdown for nearly five years, but through relentless dedication and rehabilitation work, I successfully reinstated generation from a single unit, generating 1.6 MW of power. This experience was a testament to the power of perseverance and collaboration.

For next 3 Years I served for the Kaligandaki "A" Hydropower Station, a robust 144 MW powerhouse situated in the scenic Syangja district of the Gandaki Province in Nepal in the role of Mechanical Section Chief. 

Currently, I hold the position of Assistant Manager at Upper Trishuli 3A Hydropower Station, a run-of-river hydro-electric plant with capacity of 60MW located in Rasuwa District of Nepal. In this role, I am privileged to contribute significantly to the generation of clean, sustainable energy for our nation.

Educational Background

My academic journey has played a pivotal role in shaping my professional career. I hold a Master's degree in Renewable Energy Engineering, which I completed from the IOE Pulchowk Campus. This program deepened my understanding of renewable energy solutions and reinforced my commitment to environmental sustainability.

Additionally, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, which I completed at the Institute of Engineering, Thapathali Campus. This foundational education equipped me with the essential knowledge and skills that have been instrumental in my career success.
